What settings do you recommend for my laptop?

Go to solution Solved by Kayn,

Folding isn't recommended for laptops. I don't even fold and I know this.

No you can fold on a laptop just make sure that it doesn't get too hot. So I wouldn't recommend folding on it 24/7.

Well to get the best results you can have the slider all the way up to full but make sure that your temperatures are in order and doesn't get too high or you can set it on medium and get it fold away. But remember temperatures.

I just started folding and I have a laptop with a 3rd gen I7 and a gt650m. What settings do you recommend for me? (I will post picks of me joining the team later)

I folded on my laptop once. 90 degrees the cooling solution on most laptops aren't really great for folding. That being said go for it, every bit helps. Throw the sliders to max and it will go as hard as it can set it to medium and it will utilise around 85% of your system, so choose based on whether or not you want to be doing too much else on the laptop as well. I'd also recommend folding using beta units, however this is more advanced

I am good at computer

As said, some laptops can handle it, some cannot. Just monitor your temps. I use HWMonitor myself for this.
