Yup, Facebook has serious memory issues. I frequently find my Facebook tab using up over 1GB of RAM by itself.

Though, are you using Chrome? I use Chrome, and it's quite possible it's Chrome's fault.

But uh, I'd recommend browsing with Firefox and uBlock Origin. Chromium, while it can be nice, is not particularly the most resource savvy thing on the planet. I mean, neither is Firefox, but it's better.
