diablo III and reaper of souls questions?

what is the diablo III dlc, is reaper of souls dlc or another game, how does the dlc and or reaper of souls affect the game

Reaper of souls is an expansion to the original Diablo 3, if you want to play Diablo 3 YOU MUST get Reaper of souls because the vanilla game is boring as hell and lacking content.

If you want to buy just the original D3 without reaper of souls id say you dont bother its not really worth it unless its really cheap.

If i remember right RoS expansion gives you a ton of content extra levels from lvl 60 to 70, the crusader class, an exta act ingamge(there are 4 in vanilla).

Anyway all the good stuff is at level 70 with RoS expansion.
