Hey,

today i downloaded the new amd driers for my r9 295x2 and it says the 2nd r9 290 in the card is disabled is this normal anyone else had this or know how to fix it?

Does it enable it when gaming? I believe the second GPU only starts working when the first one starts to struggle.

Isn't the 2nd card disabled by default, until you open a program that can take advantage of it?

i tried running gta to see if that would enable it nothing change but what you say seem logical so ill go with that.

Try a game. If the game is crossfire enabled but the other 290x chip does not work then something is wrong.

Current PC: Origin Millennium- i7 5820K @4.0GHz | GTX 980Ti SLI | X99 Deluxe

just checked with my own R9 295x2...mine is working. your window should look like this.
