To start off, two months ago I did a 3DMark  my Geforce GTX 760 MSI has been losing performance : My first 3DMark Firestrike Score was at 5400 (which for itself is already low, compared to other 3DMark benchmarks of my setup), I did that benchmark two months ago. I have retried the test and my score has lowered down to 5100. (Also want to point out that in all four tests I have lowered.

Second of all, I play a lot of GTA V and suddenly after a few days I've have a lot of stuttering/freezes. I used GPU-Z to monitor what my gpu is doing, and when I get a freeze, the GPU load suddenly drop to 6-10%. This only happens on GTA V. It has nothing to do with VRAM used because in game I get max 2000MB of usage.

Some possibly helpful things that could solve my problem :

-90%-98% GPU load

-Bad cooling/Case ventilation is terrible (60°C-66°C).

-Dual Monitors (1600x900 and 1366x768).

-Windows 8.1 64Bits.

-Possibly a lower quality PSU (Akasa 80+Gold 850W Modular).

-Ultra settings apart from shadows (High), MSAA (Off) and Grass (Very High).

-Default Intel Heat-sink.

Setup :

CPU : Intel core i5 4570.

Mobo : MSI Z87-G45 Gaming.

RAM : 2x4GB G.Skill 2133MHz.

GPU : NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 MSI (Twin Frozr 4) Non OC (Never OCed).

So my probleme is that my GPU is having a bad time and doesn't want to work as it should. If you can find a way to solve this problem, please let me know, I have only tried to set task priority to High in Task Manager for GTA V, at first it works, but not anymore.

In any case, I plan on buying a GTX 970 for Christmas (Not a 390 because ShadowPlay, and game).

Thanks for any help possible.

P.S. If you need ANY extra information that could help solve the problem, please ask me.

66c aint going to cause throttling. the fact that gpu usage fluctuates rather than stays at 98/99% the whole time. does this happen with firestrike?
