Hi all!!

I'm not sure where to put this thread so I'll post here. I posted another one in graphics card.

So there is an r9 290 that does these glitches

Do you think it would be worth it for 50 bucks?  It could be only some small problem witch can be fixed with some extra voltages and stuff. But it could be bad memory... So it's a gamble and I'm not sure if I want to spend basically all my money on it.

Thanks a lot

It looks like the memory might be dying. But I guess it's a gamble, if you can underclock it some and have it still fine then that's a very worthwhile purchase to me.

It works fine if not under load

Overvolt the memory .It might help.

But i think the chips are dying.

that's because when at idle , the chips aren't run at full speed ( i think mem is at 150 and core is at 350), so the chips run fine at that speed .

However , once you turn up the speed , the chips can't handle the load anymore.

What about testing it to what speed the ram still works at without making errors and see how it runs but overall its still a risk reward that could payout big time or suck no knowing for sure it could work at a decent memory speed but a month from now stop fully or you can get some decent time out of it and for $50 bucks be completly worth it even with a decently low underclock

well if you disable to power saving option , the card should run at full speed at full time.

What you then do is use afterburner to fine tune the gpu and memeory until you can reach a stable clock with your voltage.

Well I'll try to go even lower price. Then it'll be worth it even for a month :'D
