Shoes for gym?

Merc.

I have found two really nice looking shoes and I need your help to decide which one should I take.

Option 1: Made for floorball and all kinds of "ball games".

Option 2: Football shoes made for indoor play. Looks really nice.

Sorry about the Finnish links... I couldn't find them on their own site. (Or then I am too lazy...)

At the gym I usually walk about 10-15 minutes on a treadmill, sometimes a bit running, lift weights... well what would you normally do at the gym...

If you disagree with me at any point let me know, but remember to tell me why you disagree.

Thank you for helping. :)

King of Off Topic.

Honestly when it comes to shoes by yourself a nice pair of shoes for $50 or so and buy a new pair every 90 days.  Its better for you to buy modest shoes more often than expensive shoes and expect them to last longer.  You're suppose to replace your shoes about once every 300-500 miles.

BTW, both of the shoes you have listed there are just for show, they aren't really great shoes.  Less flare = win when it comes to shoes.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

I use Nike Free 5.0

Theyre great for light use (few sprints/short jogs/walking/gym floor) - not for long running or competitive sprinting

For squats/deadlifts its popular to use no shoe or use flat bottom shoes such as converse chucks/vans

I'm unfamiliar with the shoes you posted, but hope I was however helpful

^This. Shoes wear out at pretty much the same rate anyway, and you need to replace them eventually, so can't recommend spending loads of money on a pair of shoes.

Just wear whatever you are comfortable with. I don't wear shoes at gym, but if I had to, would probably wear another pair of jika-tabi boots, like I wear everywhere else for almost every purpose ever, except on winters.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.
