Internal USB header shortage

Hi,

 

Yesterday I added a Kraken X41 water cooler to my GPU and like my PSU, it comes with a controller that needs an internal USB header.

Since my MB (ASUS Z97 MAXIMUS RANGER VII) has only two of those and one is free I have a situation where I can only control one of those or need additional Internal USB headers.

 

Do I have another solution or do I need to get something like this? https://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/99-iu01-usb-expansion-case-accessory.html

Since I am looking at adding another GPU with water cooling and watercooling my CPU, I probably do need at least a few additional Internal USB headers.

 

Any suggestions appreciated!

That's one of the best ones out there, there are also internal splitter I've seen but I haven't seen how reliable they are.

Oh, really? Can I use it? I was under the impression that it was for specific external ROG stuff only.

yes, it is a USB hub for the ROG front base or the ROG tray, but if you are not

using the peripherals, then it is a normal USB header, yes it works fine.

I would like to add a question here that is somewhat connected.

My CAM software for Kraken was giving error messages described here. http://camfeedback.nzxt.com/forums/252256-bugs-issues/suggestions/7537951-kraken-fan-is-malfunctioning-error

 

Changing USB headers done, but I spent 25 minutes looking through all available settings and couldn't find where to change voltage for CHA FAN1, where I connected Kraken for power. Any ideas about where its hidden or under what probably obvious name does it hide?
