In a nut shell, I've been itching to build a new PC. I want to get more performance as I feel my PC is lacking. I am also planning on getting 2 new monitors and all new peripherals. I'd have about £1250~ budget wise and if I was to sell, it'd add on.

Would you say upgrade my current rig (most likely another 980 and more RAM) and peripherals or sell my current PC and get it all new?

My current rig is in my signature.

Cheers

I might sell the 980 and the I5 and buy a I7 4790k and a couple 980tis (with the money from selling)

I'm not even sure. It just doesn't feel right. I'm thinking of getting another SSD since I think mine is dying.

I don't see how I'd fit 2 new monitors and peripherals in with that.

here's what i think you should upgrade:

ditch the i5 for an i7

upgrade the 980 to 980ti sli

get another SSD if you need it

you don't need another pc. you're crazy if you think you do.

Like I said, I need to get two new monitors and peripherals. They'd cost about £600 combined. Fitting 980ti's, 4790k and an SSD is a bit of a tall order
