New Build - Help and guidance needed

Hi folks, I need he,p and guidance. Full spec new build is in signature but I've been out of the game for 5 years and things have moved on quite. I have questions on cooling and ram..

Sitting idle we have around 24 degrees which is fine ...... But a half hour on black ops 3 seen temps hitting 71-79 ..... Then today battlefront arrived and a half hour or so seen a temp hit 86 !!!!!

I can't find info on safe temps for the i7 6700k anywhere

I will admit to being afraid of the bios ..... The ASUS Z170-Deluxe has so many choices. I have updated it also to latest 1302 bios.

Machine is running Windows 10 pro x64 which I bought a copy of for the new build.

Now I am unsure of these temps under load as my old system never got above 59 (Phantom 410, i7 3770k and Corair H80 cooler

I use the computer daily for work and cannot afford downtime. The 2 days building it between jobs and waiting on parts arriving seen me lose a week getting caught back up.

The DDR4 ram is also saying its 2133Mhz and not the 3000 it should be

I need he,p and guidance. I feel out of my depth a little now with what should have been a simple build. I cannot get the ASUS Ai software to load for me to check fans speed etc as they are silent and the Cam software says even under load only running at 25% so I ended up making a profile tonight so the fans would spin 100% if it hit 60 degrees., but still I seen 86 degrees during battlefront.

I don't know what to do now and the kraken x61 instructions and such suck !!!! The Noctis 450 fan module connector thing instructions suck ....

In the bios I don't know what pwm is as I have a choice of PWM or DC ??? Only the cou fan is registering as spinning yet they all are on the screen

What do you think, where do I turn to try get this temp down as 86 degrees scares me.

I have not over clocked or messed around with bios all is stock etc

I don't really want to OC but would like to know it's not gonna melt during a game session.

Help?!?!

do you have any idea what the fan speed is (assuming it is still plugged into the x61)? anything below 85° loaded is fine. may want to step your fans up from quiet to a more aggressive profile.
by default the RAM is set at 2133, you'll effectively overclock the RAM. using the XMP profile will do this automatically, but you have to manually tell it to do so.
if your fans are 3-pin, that will be DC, if the fans qre 4-pin that is PWM when plugged into the motherboard for fan control.
