Loud buzzing noise coming from pc while playing Battlefront

Go to solution Solved by smg4life01,

did the update from nvidia and it fixed it no whining noise from gpu when playing battlefront

hey there everyone so just started playing battlefront this morning while playing i am noticing some loud buzzing noise coming from my pc now i have no idea where it is coming from whether the gpu or cpu or even motherboard, my pc is water cooled both cpu and gpu and i'm trying to figure out where it is coming from i think it is from gpu but idk where it would be coming from and why it would be making noise like this as i've played many other games on this system and nothing like this has ever happened.

someone pls help me solve this problem.

thanks

coil whine maybe? (it's extremely temperamental)

is it like an electrical buzzing noise? does it go away at all if you move your computer?

My computer makes an annoying buzzing noise most likely from vibrations in the case from the fans, though if I prop one of the feet up a little it tends to go away.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

Probably coil whine from your graphics card; some applications cause it more than others.

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

if you use retarded/autistic/etc to mean stupid please gtfo

Try turning vsync on, this has happend to be but fixed it by turning on vsync in another game. might work for you.

Usually when your GPU is making crazy fps it does this from what i've heard.

Sounds like coil whine to me, I get it too on my water-cooled 970 in Battlefront. V-sync can help but other than that there isn't much I've found that helps.

Yeah, it's an electrical thing. Coil whine has nothing to do with fans.
