Is a m.2 drive not better than an ssd for os purposes?

Would be much faster in terms of cold booting. Why all the HDDs? Chances are you'd never need more than 3TB of storage in total. Also, why not SLI?

Sli is my plan in the future.

 

I want to experience just 1 980ti first.

 

Then ill add another when im ready.

 

I have always been curious as to how much a second 980ti would affect performance.

Its worth noting i do a lot of cpu based rendering. so the extra cores isnt wasteful.

 

I also game... ALOT, which is why i haven't sacrificed the i7 for a Xeon
