It only seems to happen on my school's potato PCs (athon x2) and my grandmother's PC (core2duo with x700 pro GPU)

 

This is what happens:

I will be scrolling around and then fragments of the site appear elsewhere, and hovering over them fixes it. Google Chrome and windows 7.

probably, if you can disable gpu rendering on chrome, do so

Happens on my work machine around lunchtime onwards. pages fill with black, sites function weird for a while and on LTT the rendering sometimes breaks entirely. I thought it was just me and I had a wacky firefox update, because it only happens to this machine for me.
