I recently sold my HD7970 Ghz in prep for an upgrade, but in the interim need something that will pair up with my intel G3258 and play Blizzard and Arenanet games on as high as possible settings with one monitor at 1080p/60Hz but as low of a budget as possible.  Any suggestions would be much helpful.

The major upgrade isn't for now actually because I don't have the funds yet so I'm looking for a temporary backup card that's inexpensive but will run everything Blizzard has and Guild Wars 2.  I'd like to keep my budget in the 50-60 dollar range.  The integrated gpu of the cpu runs ok on all low settings but as soon as I get into congested areas like raids or in areas that even with the lowest graphical settings will display stuff like mists of smoke and the like, the frames drop.

Those would be downgrades from the 7970. The 7970 crushes a R9 380 in performance. He would have to get something at least better than a R9 380 for it to be worth it.

my bad, I dont have a lot of knowledge with older hardware. I figured that those two budget options would outperform it.

Should of kept your 7970 until more funds came to be completely honest. Look for something used.

As a matter of fact yeah I saw that and I wonder how much of an improvement it'll be.
