Help Choosing Display

Hello,

 

I was trying to compare between two monitors and wanted the communities input. 

 

1) BenQ EW2750ZL 27in (VA Panel) http://www.ncix.com/detail/benq-ew2750zl-27in-led-am-va-1f-117756-1293.htm

2) LG 27MP77HM-P 27in (IPS Panel) http://www.ncix.com/detail/lg-27mp77hm-p-27in-led-monitor-1e-107057-1293.htm

 

Price is about the same and generally from what I've been reading the 5ms IPS and 4ms VA are more or less the same for the cost. Can you help explain which one would be a better purchase and why?

 

Main use would be for watching tv/movies and very light gaming.

The LG IPS is worth it

IPS monitors tend to have better image quality so the LG gets my vote, though check reviews if there are any just to be sure

i didn't see the refresh rates on either monitor. i can only assume what they are. i've seen this on other sites also.
