Errr, I feel really stupid now as I just discovered the problem, the hdd has been corrupted somehow, no idea how but it's kaput so no wonder it failed to do anything.

EDIT The problem was discovered, a broken HDD was giving me some grief. Cheers for clicking on this anyhow!​​

 

 

Hey, below is the essential pieces of my brothers 2720 AIO by dell, with his AIO's screen dying we are going to put the rest of the computer in a new case so we took them out and rebuilt the circuit to test it on the table.

 

When we booted up for the first time the system complained about some bios stuff  so I reset the bios by removing the battery for a few seconds, this seems to have caused some problems as the computer will not show anything on the screen.

 

I've tried to do the normal trouble shooting things but nothing seems to work, so any ideas are welcome!

(Yes, the power and hdmi cables were connected previous to the photo)
