Hello, is it possible to run an MSI Radeon R7 250X graphics card with a GTX 480 graphics card in the same system without using SLI or crossfire to run two different monitors?

I'm pretty sure you can but I've heard from somewhere that Nvidia drivers crap themselves when they detect an instance of CCC running.. may just be a false statement...

Well i heard that nvidia cards and amd cards don't work well together , but you should be fine.

Yes its possible but you will have to disable the card that isnt in use

Use one as the one that runs your system and the other to just fold or work at something they cant collectively work together to add FPS

Sure but you can run multiple monitors off one graphics card with no penalty
