Bumped the 8350 down to an 8320. 

 

Bumped the 7950 up to a 7970.

 

Switched out the memory for 2 4GB modules to take advantage of dual channel.

No. Just overclock the 8320, and you will have vastly improved performance.

This is what I came up with, you can always get windows by "other" means. But if not just get windows 8 and get it done. Next directX is supposed to only be on windows 8 so better now than later.

you can overclock your cpu by using the guides in the forum and you have a better graphics card
