Go to solution Solved by MountainPro,

Hey Guys,

Is it worth it to wait for black friday if im inn for buying pc parts?

I'm not from here, so i dont know im fucking sorry.

Yea, you can get some really good deals on hardware when Black Friday comes around. I would say sign up for newsletters from Newegg or something and wait because you will get emails with hardware that is really good and really cheap.

Hope that helps!

Honestly I would drop that cooler. You aren't gaining a ton from it since you could pump more $$ into the graphics card. And that SSD. That SSD is very slow.

I'll put together a build in that range.

The H100i isn't particularly quiet, at least the fans that come with it aren't. A build is only as quiet as the loudest part.

I'll try to put together a good quiet build.

Windows 10 (slightly-shady usually fine way) https://www.reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap/

Got an R9 390, an SSD, a quieter, yet not quite as a high-performing cooler, and it is otherwise the same. Locked i5, although in the vast majority of games this will do much better due to the R9 390 instead of R9 380.

You could also get a 970 for the same price. Whichever you prefer. This one is $270 after rebate http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127833 It would bring the price down to $800 flat before Windows.

You honestly put together a really good build, except for that SSD.

I would still wait until Black Friday. If you don't see great sales, you can use this as a backup build instead.

Forget that stupid water cooler and buy this GTX 970 with the money saved: $270 for a 970 that will smash the shit out of that 380.

http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/486274-us-newegg-msi-gtx-970-4gd5t-oc-270-after-rebate

Then you can buy a $25 Hyper 212 EVO to cool your 4690k.

Great build but he said quiet. Stock cooler is not quiet. You have to check off what they ask for first, then go raw performance.

I do love that build though.

Depends. Right now is a good time to buy.

Even without Black Friday. I've been seeing deals recently that are better than anything I've seen on the current Black Friday ads

I'm not sure the stock cooler will be so loud on a 65W CPU like the i5-6500, though it is the cooler they give in Haswell Celeron/locked Pentium/i3 and not the one they give with i5/i7/Xeon E3/G3258. But I have never heard anyone complain about that cooler with the 53W Haswell i3s.
