Fallout 4 after 50 hours

Alright, main story is done, faction missions are done, settlement is cool, most areas discovered. Now what? I'm quickly realizing that this game has no real late game content like Skyrim or past fallout games. Everything dies in a few clips max, even on hard and above, only loot worth carrying is junk and ammo, legendary items are extremely underwhelming...anyone else experiencing this? I've yet to find anything to strive for, and i can't see myself squeezing that much more out of the game unless i start a new character.

Late game stuff for FO3 I found was very much in the dlc. Wouldnt be shocked if it was the same.

I've found a half a corpse, stuck into the barrel, which is constantly spinning.

Spent 5 hours watching this.

I guess I can kind of see that now... I have 36 hours, and have been on survival difficulty since the beginning. I'm LOVING the game, but I suppose that can be a fear of mine. I have 180 hours on skyrim PC, and I've never beat the main story (only beat it on my first PS3 playthrough). Like stated above, I could really see a lot of endgame content coming from the DLC.
