The CS brand from corsair is really poopy imo and I don't know how the pentium compares to the i3. Minecraft is really CPU intensive.

If you already have the GPU and 500$ is your cap then I'd go skylake with an i3-6100 for it's better performance over haswell.

CS is significantly better than the xxxB PSUs from EVGA. That's the CX series you're thinking about.

Minecraft is really CPU intensive. But only on two cores because Java.

Why would you spend 50$ on that PSU if you can get an XFX 550W for around the same price, which is a quality, Seasonic unit :P

Also, if he needs CPU power, the Skylake i3 is 23-25% faster than an 4130

(I know the Z170 motherboard is unnecessary, but the pricing within DDR4 LGA1151 mobos is retarded as for today ^^)

If you don't plan to run a 980 or higher end cards like I plan to do, don't use it. My friend has an I5 4690k and 970 and he has had his build for a year and no problems

Totally forgot they released thank you so much!

Also you could probably get a Samsung or Sandisk 120GB SSD in there.
