Sli 980 ti

I just read the sli thread prior to posting. My question is as follows:

Can I run dual GTX 980 ti's?

Setup:

Core i7 6700k

Asus rog viii hero

Corsair h100i GTX

MSI GTX 980 ti sea hawk

Evga p2 750w psu

Samsung ssd

Seagate hdd

16 gb gskill trident z ram

Yup you can, it would be better if you have a six-core cpu (more pcie lanes are better) but you're ok to go

Excellent. Thanks. I saw a lot of benchamrks showing power draw. Just like to confirm is all. I wanna get another asap. I also am getting the new Asus pg279q. I wanna push nice framrates.

Also what would be a good 2nd card? My first is the water cooled MSI/corsair model. Don't think I can't fit a 2nd lol

i have a Strix 980ti with a 600watts CoolerMaster, in the future, i want to buy second one for a SLI set up, so which of the following psu do you recommend me:

 

Corsair 1200i HXi High Performance Power Supply

Corsair RM850 80PLUS Gold-Certified Power Supply

Corsair HX1000i High Performance Power Supply

 

which of the above would be good for some OC, which would be an overkill psu even for the OC.

 

note: in your sign i noticed that you use an 1050 psu, that would be enogh?

A 750 watt would be minimum. Typically people want gold or platinum certifications and full modular. 850 w would be a good one. Best of luck.
