OS and Backup Opinions

Hello Tech World,

Thanks for taking some of your time to see my post, let's take a quick walk here on why and what am I asking here.

 

 I've been thinking, since I was going to build myself a new computer (More info on my Sig.) I went to check and see on how W10 has been doing so far, and from what I've seen I'm not convince. So I'll probably stay with W7 since I'm already used to it, and on the other hand I've had bad experiences with Windows Restore and Backup System, from then on I backup everything by manually organizing my folders and then passing them into my Ext-HDD. So the questions are:

 

Q: Which OS do you recommend, what are the Pros/Cons when using such OS?

 

Q: Is there any other way to backup files more faster, easier and safer?

 

Q: Do you use any other tools for organizing and backing up files?

 

Guess this is clean and simple enough, hope to hear your answers soon.
