Spilt coffee over my k70 keyboard

Hello

 

Just spilt coffee over my k70 keyboard, I have used some q tips to remove some of it. Also it was a small amount of coffee in it. What should i do now. Should i put it in water or leave it to dry.

Get some isopropyl alcohol and cottonballs, wipe down area where coffee spilled, then it leave it out to dry for a day or so.

I would take it apart to clean it or soak it in isoproyl alcohol to displace the coffee and so it doesn't get all sticky if you had sugar and creme in your coffee.

This is gonna sound really weird but trust me!  Put it in a large  bag of rice!

First things first tip it on the side to drain all the liquid out. Then get your divers license or a gift card you used up and pull the keys off. Throw the keys in a salad bowl full of soapy warm water for about 30 minutes and leave the keyboard to dry on your desk for a day to two.

The coffee only went over about 10 keys at the bottom right of the keyboard.
