Im from nz and you and our prices are around the same. In Aus the R9 390 is $512 and the gtx 970 is $518. Both are great cards and since you already have the Nvidia card i suggest you go with the Gtx 970. The gtx 980 is $789 so not that :) go to https://au.pcpartpicker.com/parts/video-card/
