Windows 10 can open .ISO?

i was wondering. if i have an ISO format folder can i open it to see whats inside in windows 10 or do i have to download some other software in order todo so?

you can generally only read .ISO contents once you have converted and burned them to media

I actually think you can. If not, use 7-Zip for it.

if that doesn't come up

 

right click>open with>windows explorer

Yes you can, as Mug explained.

 

Simple double click on an ISO file, and check File Explorer, you'll notice a new optical drive that showed up, if you double click on it, you'll see the content of the disk.

Windows 10 has native virtual mounting now, no need to burn or use third party software.

double click it and it will mount and show you contents (READ ONLY)
