Samsung 950 Pro

Ling

How worthwhile are the benefits of a Samsung 950 Pro over a Samsung 850 Pro? Is it worth the upgrade if someone had money to splurge? Discuss!

You will never even feel the difference.  The 950 pro was made for many many many users accessing it at once, not 1 person booting Windows and loading games.  You literally will not even be able to utilize 20% of it's performance unless all you do is transfer multi-gigabyte files from a 950 Pro to another 950 Pro just to see the transfer speeds.

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

When there is no danger of failure there is no pleasure in success.

unless youre a professional content creator or you need to do some heavy processing the 950 is a waste of money

regular consumer programs dont need that speed and you will get no benefit other than a M.2 SSD that overheats

simple math would suggest that it is 100 better............... : /

but honestly, if you had money to splurge.. and you already have an 850 pro you would probably be better upgrading any other component first.....

The 950 Pro is a better drive, but it's also more expensive and you will likely never feel the performance gains in real life.
