Mic sounds good, I think all they have done is implemented there digital 7.1 software that you find in Razer Synapse to the actual headset themselves which is nothing special as I had them on a £40 pair of Plantronics.

I was confused by that it seems like they're marketing the same headset for more because it already has their free software

Exactly what they have done, load of people in the comments of the video are crying because they have bought the Kraken Pro's where as they are the same thing just slightly different mic quality and probably no analog connection for mobile devices. It just to make people spend more money for a less practical headset and free software.

the thing is people will still buy it and think it's amazing I wouldn't be surprised if people with kraken pro's bought it and said it was way better just because razer hyped it up

Gotta say if it actually has led's in the headset thats pretty cool but no one is going to see them because you cant use them outside if there usb only.

Nah man the glowing razer logo easily adds $50. It's not like LEDs are cheap or anything

I was just about to post this. Happy I searched. I'm surprised these cans are as cheap as they are. Razer typically hits that premium pricing mark.
