What would you upgrade?

DJ Mouse. It's kinda broken: http://im3.woodbrass.com/images/woodbrass/DJTECH+DJ+MOUSE+TK-1.JPG Getting a new one

I got the WD Blue with a Pre-Built HP build.

Might get a NZXT x41 and I'll put the rear fan at the front.

PSU, maybe. I've had this one for 2 years now, Not overclocking anything. I think it will be fine.

Not for overclocking, for heat issues that can happen.

Since you have a locked CPU, Scratch the cooler for now.

If I were you I,would shoot for a

- 1TB Western Digital Blue

- A Mionix NAOS 7000 or SteelSeries Rival mouse ( These work with all grip types )

- A Antec High Current Gamer 620W or a 650w EVGA GS/G2

Hey!

So christmas is coming up and my parents asked me if i had a wish list. I said no and immediately started looking around for stuff i want.

I came to the conclusion that i want to upgrade my PC. (Current specs: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/pG78GX )

I got the R9 390 and the R5 case in September.

I had a 500GB WD Blue in there but it broke. Any suggestions on a new HDD? I want a 1TB or bigger.

What would you upgrade first and why?

Thinking of getting a new PSU. Another R9 390 is not possible unless i upgrade CPU/RAM/MOBO first. My mobo only has 1 pci-e 16x slot.

ok ; i guess you could upgrade your psu (not a priority as you're not stressing it too hard , cx psu's don't respond well to load), the cpu ( and mobo) and get a hdd.

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case

HDD upgrade would be good. I know i had issues with one of my drives and upgraded from 1tb to 3tb and i love it.

MY SUGGESTION: another monitor! WHY? I have dual monitor set ups for work, and my home PC. It makes SO MUCH difference, maybe not directly to gaming but overall experience. I LOVE having two monitors and honestly couldnt see my life without them anymore. So yeah that's my suggestion. Get the same monitor if your horrible like me and cant stand subtle differences in size, height, or color of the montiors (could be just me).

Intel Core i7-6700k | 2 X Gigabyte 4GB GTX 970 Overclocked Edition | 16GB (4X4GB) DDR4 2133MHz Corsair Dominator Platinum | MasterCase Pro 5

ASUS Z170 Deluxe Motherboard | 256GB Samsung 840 Pro + Seagate 2TB Storage | Corsair Hydro H80i GT | Windows 10 Pro 64bit | Corsair HX850i

1) Possible PSU CHOICES- EVGA GS/G2 Any SeaSonic or XFX, lower end Antec High Current Gamer ( still quality )

2) What is that "DJ Mouse"

3) You stated you had a WD BLUE That broke. WD has really good customer service and may send you a new one.

4) Case Fans? Or AIO ? For AIO NZXT x61 Kraken or Corsair H100i GTX.

5) Uhmm... No idea.

Why do you want to upgrade? As in, what do you want it to do better?

The cx power supplies are fine. The quality of the components isnt great, but that doesnt mean you have to scrap it.

Just means, that in time,(something like 5-10 years) the power will go unstable, and you have to replace the power supply.

The corsair power supplies, have great saveguards, so it really wont blow out your pc. Just will get unstable after a (long) while.

Just use it, till that happens.

Everyone here seems to think the cx power supplies will just blow out. NOT TRUE. Corsair uses great safeguards to prevent that.

It is a very safe power supplie to use.

I wouldnt reccomend getting one, but i also dont reccomend just throwing it out. It is fine. Just not superduper seasonic awesome.
