try to go as low as possible maybe start low ball at 50$ saying its old and that you can get a new 960 for a bit more then what hes asking, then work up until he says ok but stop at 100$ cause its not really worth it past that

im saying 100 cad is equal to 75 usd.... but seriously if i can get a 100$ cad 770 why would that mean its worth 100 usd ? and if your paying 130$ for the 77 may as well go the extra 30$ for a new 960

im guessing that the person selling it near you is/was desperate to get cash right away. they sell for quite a bit more than that usually. 1 data point is not a trend.

even at 100$ it didnt sell, people were posting them for 500$ here, does that mean there worth 500$ ? no, all im saying is even if you dont look at what i said, would you pay 150$ for a 770 when you can get a brand new gtx 960 for 180 ?

at 110 for a 2gb or 130 for a 4gb I would call a 770 a good buy and the  $50 jump to a 960 from $130 is a lot on some budgets.

 

 

Edit: (It seems I may be vastly over estimating the worth of the 2GB Model)

I just sold both my GTX760s for $140 and they are 2gb each so $150 is a little high but that is what people are paying I guess.

770s go for $120-140 shipped depending on brand and model but since it's craigslist, I would offer him $100.

If it's the titan cooler then $140 is a good price. If it's not then $120.
