So I'm looking for a mouse around the g502 price point, I use a fingertip grip and my hads are large. I play games of all kinds. My mouse pad is a wooden table :)

I was looking at the sabre rgb for its RGB and button mapping customisability. I kind of fell like it has too few buttons though.

I could probably just buy the g502 but it doesn't have RGB.

Is there any other option in this price range and what would you recomend ?

Not always...

No. Always. Every game, every situation. Always. (other things being equal).

No. Always. Every game, every situation. Always. (other things being equal).

Nah buttons can be annoying why do you need more buttons in an FPS it adds unneeded weight and other BS. Also makes the mouse more expensive.

g700S?

I second the G700s. It's cheaper and has more buttons, and fits my large hands very well. You'll get used to the unconventional shape quickly. The thing I like the most about it is it's both wired and wireless. Just plug in the USB cable and you can use it without batteries.

Well It is optical, not that much more expensive and has too many buttons. I like it :)

It will take some time till it gets to my country though. (They have a preorder on it...)

I'll look up some reviews.

I really don't want to go wireless because of the latency so g700 doesn't seem right.

Edit:

Ok so new comments popped up is the g700s low latency when you plug it in ? Also is the sensor good?

I'm not sure about it because it's laser.

Other things being equal I said (weight, sensor, price, ergonomics). There is always a use for more buttons. Properly located thumb buttons are faster than any keyboard stroke your finger has to move.

Besides, workflow is so much better with all those buttons lol.

Just a warning. Almost no one in the world seems to understand the true potential of MMO mice. Every random tech person has played CS:GO and "knows how that type of mouse works", but I have yet to meet a mouse reviewer who has ever seen/used MMO mice on the world competitive stage (esport or otherwise).

Hell most of them haven't even tried them with their unbridled potential for generic workflows.

And there is no game I have ever played where even 7 side buttons (my back 3 are only used for rare productivity items and mmo type gaming) is less efficient than the 2 commonly ascribed to "the best mice".

But weight and ergonomics are ofc a different animal and very much based on your personal preference.

When you plug in the G700s it acts just like a wired mouse, so its latency should be minimal, just the same as any wired mouse. As for the sensor, it's fine, Comparable to any optical mouse I've ever used.
