So I found a guy on craigslist who has like 20 1500w and 17 1300w EVGA power supplies.

So for one 1300w power supply that only comes with 4 vga cords and the power and USB cord for $80

But heres where I started thinking. If I put the $80 for the power supply. And then got Cable mods custom sleeved cables for like $95.

Then sold my current power supply to a friend for $45.

So i would then only be down $130 and have an overkill power supply and custom sleeved cables.

Is it worth?

I would suggest getting a NEW 80 dollar PSU, it wouldn't be as good but would be more trustworthy

Also, if you have a seriously 'overkill' psu It can sometimes cause troubles if you arent using enough power

Given that so few power supplies have two ATX 24-pin connectors, unlikely.

I'd buy one, but it is likely they are stolen fyi, but still I'd buy it as I don't really have a moral compass only a financial one
