Hi,

I currently have a Corsair Cx600M PSU in my gaming rig and I am planning to upgrade from an i5 4460 to an i7 4790k (I have a z97 mobo). I would like to do a bit of Overclocking so my question is what do you think about the Corsair CX PSU for Overclocking. Should I risk it with this PSU?

Thnxs!

Might work, might not. 600W is enough, just make sure to keep all that heat out of the case.

I personally wouldnt with that psu, ive seen and heard too many horror stories about the cx series.  They do print for "basic system builds" on their boxes in their defense tho :D, so when people stick high end hardware on these and try to overclock is the psu really to blame if something goes up in smoke? lol.  Long story short No imo.
