Youtube Frames Drop Insanely (Mobile)

Everytime I tap on the player while a video is playing (when I get the option to scroll through the video and share the video etc) I get huge lag. I have an HTC One M9 and I'm on Android lollipop.

No but seriously, charging brings heat up and watching videos at the same time doesn't help, so it could just be high power transfers (discharge too) and watching videos. My M8 used to get insanely hot (like +100F it was crazy) until I switched to CM

Nope, not hot at all. The strange thing is, I downgraded to an older version of youtube and it works fine.

YouTube's been going through a lot of changes recently. I wouldn't be too surprised if it's just an issue with the current version.
