Quad core 1150 CPU

I have a H87i-plus running in my home server and I'm wanting to upgrade the CPU (therefore needs to be socket 1150)

 

I'm looking for the cheapest option that will get me the following requirements:

- 1150 socket

- quad core

- hyperthreading

- vt-d for pcie passthrough

 

any recommendations? i5? xeon maybe?

there are no quad core i5s with hyperthreading

i5's do not have hyperthreading, but a xeon does- maybe an E3-1231v3?

Or just the i7-4790(non-K)

Thinking about your requirements... i3 has hyper threading making it have 4 threads.. Pseudo quad core with hyper threading

As already stated, only the Xeon 1231v3 (only that Xeon makes sense) and i7s are quad cores with hyperthreading.

i7 and xeon match all the requirements. Xeon will be the cheepest but no overclocking.
