The Gorilla V2

NihKiller

So to those of you that remember my original Gorilla, and liked it, heres the new Gorilla, so hope you enjoy this litte update as well!!! :D

UPDATES:

A new paint job

A Magicool slim 280 rad in the bottom

2x Noctua NF-A14 140mm fans

A new EK tank

A Aquacomputer Kyrographics HD 7990 waterblock

Some sleeving here and there

and a new placement for my Samsung 840 SSD, with some lighting effects  :D

(sorry for some bad pics)

First of, I had to bend som metal, to be able to fitt the 280 rad in the bottom as you can see, BUT when the side panel is on you will not be able to see it anyway.  ;)

This case do not support a 280 rad in the bottom, and when I bought the stuff, I thought i would fit just fine because it was room for two 140mm fans, but no.... <_< so thats why i had to make room for it.

1. Why did you sleeve one of the tubings and not the others?

2. Could probably get a black usb 3.0 internal extention so it won't stick out so much

3. You may have been able to get better cooling if you went with the koolance 280mm rad (i think it outperforms the magicool one)

4. What right angle connector is that at gpu block? looks similar style to the monsoon version.

Other then that, it looks really awesome. I love the colour scheme... looks fresh (kinda sick of seeing red, white, black builds  )

ah, good question. if you look at my first build, you can see that i sleeved more of the tubing, but i was lazy this time, and didn't take it off, but i will do it in the future.

good questions.

1. like I said to Wferr, it was there for my original build, and I was lazy, i admit, but i will take it off in the near future. ;)

2. Yes, I did plan to sleeve the usb3, and than paint the head of the conector black, but it never happened. will hopefully do that in the future aswell.

3. Probably yes, but, the magicool 280mm rad was the only 280mm rad available at the retailer at the time i bought it, and since i already have a 360mm magicool rad in the top, i just tought that that would "look" a little more even, if you know what i mean. I can still push my i7 to 4.9GHz( with OK temps) and my 7990 to 1,100MHz on the core, and get, maybe a peak temp of 52C, in my tiny oven(my room) at around 30C+ when things start to heat up.

and 4. that is an EK-CSQ 90° Adapter.
