Will a VPN do this...

Go to solution Solved by sms1202,

Vpn should do it.

I have a game that I play, War Thunder, and I cannot download the latest update to the game (it cannot be played without the latest update) and I believe it's due to a restriction my university has placed on the internet network. If I get a VPN will this allow me to download the update and get through these assumed restrictions I'm having? If not, is there anything that could serve as a work around to my problem?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm not well versed in the realm of networking and such. Thanks.

It should, if that truly is the problem with the download.
