First off this is my first post but long time lurker. Thanks to everyone that is answering questions on the forums because other people have the same questions and also thank you to those asking the questions. I want to make sure All my components are compatible and the right option for my application.

So, let me give you a run down of my current build and how we got here.

CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz

MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3P LGA 1155 Intel Z68

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 later added another set of this for total of 32GB Ram

GPU: XFX Double D Radeon HD 7970 FX-797A-TDFC 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5  just recently upgraded to EVGA GeForce GTX TITAN X 12G-P4-2992-KR 12GB SC

Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H70

My plan for this build:

CPU: Intel Core i7 5820K 6Core

MOBO: EVGA 131-HE-E095-KR LGS 2011-v3 Intel x99

HDD: HyperX Predator M.2 2280 240GB

RAM:  Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4x8GB) 288 PIN DDR4 2133

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX TITAN X 12G-P4-2992-KR 12GB SC but putting the Corsair Hydro Series HG10 N980 GPU Cooling bracket with a Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX

PSU: EVGA 220-G2-0850-XR 80Plus Gold 850W  - I could get away with a 600ish PSU but I want room in case I get another Titan X when Prices Fall.

Cooling: 2 Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX (1 CPU and 1 GPU)

Case: I am going with an open bench design and going with the Small Tech Station from Spotswood. That will allow me to mount one H100i GTX on each side.

I have concerns to making the switch to M.2 SSD vs traditional SATA SSD. Am I getting a compatable SSD with my mobo? Also I have people ask me all the time why I went with the Titan X. Well I needed the VRAM or at least I think I do. I stream gaming which alot of people do. But, thats where it ends. So my screen selection is below.

Screens:

Main: Samsung S34E790C Glossy Black 34" Curved WQHD

Secondary: Asus VE248H Black 24" 2ms (Had 3 at one point and ran eyefinity on them)

So here is a picture of the battle station.

Thanks for any replys good or bad, and I am always up for suggestions. I am going to be moving the dual top monitors down a bit and have longer cables for better management options.

No need Titan X, get a 980Ti

I agree^^

For what your doing, you definitely don't need to blow the cash on that, it won't be that much better

I do believe that motherboard supports that ssd though you should be fine, I think that one is going to support the new 950 pro from samsung too

Whoops missed that, regardless, I don't see any potential issues

Do you guys?

Yup, already have the titan x because i thought i would need the vram for the resolutions i game/stream at.

Just a sec, what bottleneck?

I am running into some issues while I am working on projects. I don't have alot of time like a lot of people but when I do i need to be able to multitask. I am having issue at the moment with CPU related task and horse power to power through jobs while still streaming and gaming.

I don't know if this makes sense, I could have just said I am wanting to spend $$ on new build I guess.

I encode at 2800 kb/s

downscale it to 1920x1080 @60fps because people haven't come to the masterrace of ultrawide yet

record at 1440p for youtube

You need 6-8GB at the most for that... even then 8GB is too much and better suited for 4k. There are some exceptions, like the Fury, Fury X and Nano where the massive mem bit bus makes 4GB just fine for 4k.

So I am guessing the general consensus is not to upgrade yet because the 2600K is not a bottle neck for the tian x in my system setup as is.

I do still want to get the tech bench setup to allow for new corsair hydro cooling for both cpu and gpu.

Would anyone suggesting overclocking the 2600k to get some more out of it?

Overclocking = Free performance so why not?

You can still buy the bench and have the 2 rads because why not? c:
