Should I Put a GPU in a donor PC?

I am building a PC from new parts out of my own pocket for a local family in need. Should I put a dedicated graphics card in it or just go with onboard graphics?

Intel i7-4790K Processor, 32 GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3-1600 RAM, ASUS Z-87 Pro Motherboard, Corsair RM 750 PSU, 250 GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD, 2 x 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDDs, ASUS GeForce GTX 970 STRIX GPU, Corsair Carbide 500R Case, AFT Pro-77U Card Reader, Dell UltraSharp 24 Monitor – U2415, Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920, Windows 9 (Windows 10 with StartIsBack++)

I feel like your question is more of moral issue?

 

Do you feel you want them to have a dedicated GPU?

 

In all seriousness most people get all that they need out of onboard graphics.

If you can spare the money, yeah. But if you can, find out what they'll be using it for. Onboard graphics could be just fine.

I wouldn't, that CPU should have the 4600 chip which Is stronger than people think. Maybe a 750ti, but unless you know they'll use it it's kind of a waste.

Honestly, I have no idea. Keep in mind the psu is 430 W.

Unless the mentioned family has some young kids that would love to game on a PC, I don't think there's a suitable reason to put a dedicated GPU in the system. I mean even for gaming, the integrated HD 4600 is good enough for most basic and free to play games.

The family has 2 young kids, but they won't be allowed to "pound" on the PC. Mother works part time, father works part time too and is in school full time studying business/accounting.

Throw a 750ti in it. Won't break the bank or the PSU and will help with any games the kids play.

I say no because what games would the kids even play if they do any? flash and minecraft? I get 60+FPS in minecraft on highish settings on the school computers here which have 4590's in them and the i3 should be very similar. An upgrade to an i5, more ram, or more storage will all probably be more useful than a GPU.
