hello,

Yesterday i bought and installed GTA V non steam version for PC . But the game it totally unplayable because i get always sub 15fps and its driving me nuts.

For some reason my cpu&gpu ( fx-8370&R9 290) usage is very low. My gpu is mostly on 0%load and small spikes up to 50% , also the core clocks on my R9 290 are just 300mhz which are idle clocks.

Note that other games are working just fine , its just GTA V

i have tried a lot of things but nothing works

-reinstalling GTA V and putting is on an other drive

-changing graphics settings does nothing at all

-changing clocks in msi after burner

-reinstalled amd drivers

-checked if bitdefender blocked anything

-changed in task manager GTA5.exe and social club to High priority.

- Nothing is OC , but if i change Gpu clocks , the core clock on my gpu goes up but not to max.

Can someone help me , rockstar support is kinda slow

Have the Task Manager open, make sure one component isn't at 100%, like your HDD or something.

Nothing weird there , shoudn't be the hdd since GTAV is installed on a second SSD , its just that nothing is at 100% when gtav is active
