Installing 280mm fans

Either take the top panel out and install the rad or take the motherboard out.

rad wont fit on top of case

Then mount it in the front.

When i try to install my radiator in my h440 i cant install it because the mobo is in the way. How can i fix this

If I remember correctly the fans on a 280mm top mounted h440 have to go on the outside of the top panel.

Ive tried that but how do i put the top panel back on?

uhh... Ideally your fans aren't as thick and it just fits on... IDK what to do if the fans are thicker than the top panel.

There is some foam on the top panel so yea

Just rip that out. The foam doesn't matter and only hurts airflow in regular situations anyways. lol.

You can't really put the fan on the outside of an H440 the top doesn't have enough thickness to house the fan especially since the fan mounts on the H440 are bumped out for more room inside the case.

Yeah the X61 does seem to work no problem as long as long as your heatsinks aren't extending off the board which would be weird:
