when i can't run the latest battlefield game on ultra.

Personally, when games can no longer run on high details at 50+ FPS. At that point, my hardware gets recycled to my younger siblings, or to my father. Luckily, my GTX 770 still gets the job done for my resolution (1600 x 900).
