For some reason my pc likes to auto overclock.

I don't know if that is what it is formally called but that is what i'm calling it: https://imgur.com/GA1UIUi

My Pc is set to max out at 2.0 Ghz but it overclocks to sometimes even 2.5 ghz anyone have any idea as to why?

Thanks

It's called turbo.  When a CPU detects that it can push itself more than stock, it turbos to a higher speed.

its called turbo boost, if your pc is running at low enough temps and power consumption it will some times automatically go faster than its base frequency

I's called turbo boost .

When the cpu detects it has thermal headroom, it goes slightly faster .
