Hello all,

Last night I set my computer off downloading about 4GB of apps from the Mac App Store. When I got up the next morning, it said the download had failed. So I opened Chrome and it couldn't connect to the Internet. Turns out I didn't have a valid IP configuration.

Reboot

Still no valid IP

Reboot into Windows 10

Runs network diagnostics, 'Ethernet' doesn't have a valid IP configuration - Not Fixed

So it seems to be a controller issue because no OS can connect to anything. I can't connect to my local network or the Internet.

Does anyone know what I can do?

EDIT:

For clarification it is a hackintosh not an actual Mac

Seems like you've got a faulty piece of hardware.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

It's a gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard with onboard Ethernet, should I RMA?

Well, I think that its hardware related.  Especially considering it is happening under 2 OS environments (I am assuming that it isn't a VM and its dual booting).
