Z97 overclocking is an arseache compared to previous chips i've owned.

Generally speaking you could get 4.5GHz, without a voltage increase - set the voltage to adaptive +0.001v, and the multiplier to x45. That's pretty much all you gotta do.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

i would not recommend overclocking the i7 4790k unless you can truly control the temps i have one and overclocked it to 4.7 on a h100i and it was cooking even at 4.5ghz under volted it hit 60-65c

l Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.5Ghz l Asus VII Ranger ROG l MSI GTX 970 @ 1555MHz l

Your temps seem kinda high.
