This is the rig I plan to make once I sell all my old stuff, intended for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront.

How can I improve it?

I already have drives.

Bro for that price you can get a pc 100000 times better

Brilliant post next time tell him what needs improving...

Change out that CPU to an I5 4690K the board to a Z97 one and the GPU out to a R9 390 and swap the psu to an 650 watt one.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

I'm coming from 3 1600x900 monitors, I'd prefer the ultrawide.

also, NO. GOD NO.

I said improve the build, not fundametally redesign it!

that was the best improvement that could be made. the apu+290 build is the definition of bottleneck, plus u cant crossfire the gpus. the apu has a gimped R7 250

I'm building with DX12 in mind.

still,, dx12 is not going to come and "gift" the apu the IPC, L3 cache and the performance that the APU is missing from its structure

If you build with DX12 in mind, the best thing to do is grab an i5 on the cheap, since it has the best performance/price and get a R9 380/290/290x/390 whenever you can,

since AMD Gpu are very promising

This will be running Star Wars battlefront, based on frostbyte 3, AKA mantle compatible.

Starwars battelfront doesn't use mantle. I would say cpu doesn't matter too much for gaming. But the cpu is pretty much very very low end, a console would make a better computer.

I'd be willing to listen if you guys were actually willing to HELP and not just say "LOL GO i5 AND 16:9"

You don't need an i5. Just one of the more beefier AMD cpus is good. I got my 8320e for $99. And the am3+ mobos are around $50. No need to get an apu when the r9 290 is very powerful on its own
