Would this fan setup work?

So I want to change my ram to 16 gb's and change the colors

(should work right? same speed voltage cas)

But idk if the ram is too high?

so right now my fans are liek this

if it changed it to this, do you think it would have a heavy impact

Do you have more intakes than outtakes? If not, then you want more intakes.

That fan setup looks kinda silly. I'd have all the intakes on the front and the outtakes on the back and maybe one on top.

That RAM will work together. Though, my Hyper 212 EVO makes one of my RAM slots unusable with any RAM that has a heatsink (I have that same RAM.) So, I don't think you'd be able to populate all 4 DIMMs.

i've tried that and this setup gets better cooling, the front fans (3 120mm's) pushing to the cpu when one of the top is outtake, thus giving less air to the cpu cooler -.-

why do you think im getting 2 different colors in the first place :)

Nah, that setup looks like it would be fine to me, that ram is pretty short so you might be able to keep its current orientation. If you need to go shorter Corsair Vengeance LP is just the height of RAM and a mm or two more.

It's about air pressure, not sending air directly at the cooler. That fan setup creates turbulence directly at the CPU cooler, making it hard for the cooler's fan to grab the air. Remove the one on the top that's doing intake, keep the exhaust one.

I know why you're getting 4 DIMMs, I'm just saying the Hyper 212 might make one unusable. Might.

what do i do with the other intake then, put it on the far front of the top (case is h440)

General rule of thumb for me, front + bottom = intake, rear + top = exhaust. (if there's a sidepanel vent, then intake there as well, or if this setup would create negative pressure, front + top + bottom as intakes, rear as exhaust)

Don't put an intake on top. It will move the air headed towards the CPU cooler away from it. If all the front intakes are filled then just take it out of your case.

For that top intake, just flip the fan around, leave the rad in the same spot.

Oops, I'm tired, it looked like you had a really weird radiator setup, and I didn't even think about the fact there was a 212 evo in there xD

Oh yeah.. Push/pull on the 212 actually works pretty well.

The Hyper212 typically does work slightly better in pull but the pull fan and the exhaust fan so close to each other will reduce the efficiency of both.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.
