I'm confused regarding this guide:

What does this guide change or do?

Doesn't Windows Media Player support 1080P? OR is that not the point?

Sorry, I'm a little bit of a n00b with video playback stuff. ..

 

I don't like 2D games...I just couldn't get into them.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

One thing i know about windows media player, is that it has a wierd variable frame rate, although its hard to notice

Also i think windows media player doesnt support all bit rates
