Hi.... i'd like to ask if im aiming for 1200 dollars or so, including peripherals, would this be a good idea?

 

Purpose: Video Recording (like using dxtory and obs), editing, gaming

 

Intel Xeon 1230 (I only got this choice because i live in Hong Kong, no 1231 or something else, no other xeons.)

H97 Pro4 (cuz colors.)

Hyperx 16gb 1600(?) (i dunno how the speed matters)

WD Blue 2TB

Crucial BX100 250gb

Gigabyte Windforce GTX970 OC (Nvidia cuz CUDA)

Corsair Carbide SPEC-01

Cooler Master Hyper212 Fan

Cooler Master SickleFlow 120mm fan 2x

Power Supply??? (No plans for SLI)

 

Peripherals:

Roccat Ryos MK Glow

Mouse???

That's a great rig man. Just get a quality PSU. XFX/Seasonic/EVGA G2/Antec High Current Gamer are my picks.

Also,

 

Swap your 970 for a r9 290 or 290x as it has more vram and is cheaper.

yes i mean v3... i only got that choice anyways.... lol

1230v3 and 1231v3 is basically the same thing anyway.
