Yet again I get another treat for being a beta participant. My LAN is down now, and I've tried every way to fix it. I booted up my PC, logged in, and my ethernet kept trying to connect and disconnect, over and over. I ran the troubleshooter, it said I had some possible corrupted registry keys. Searched Google, that told me to delete the WinSock and WinSock 2 registry keys, so I did. Which was a mistake, as I should've just reset them in cmd, since the option to reinstall them was non existent. I ran a Registry troubleshooter that 'fixed' the problem (it just added another ethernet connection) and the same shit still happens. How do I fix this? I'm coming to a point that I'm grabbing my programs and jumping ship, just straight up reinstalling Windows and copying over my Steam games and stuff. Any way to fix the networking completely? So that's it supposed to be working the way it's supposed to?

By the way, I was at my friend's house last night, so I was using my wireless adapter. Now that I'm back home I plugged in my PC to my LAN, and now it's all fucked up.

Edit: I did, yesterday, get a blue screen for something. I think it was a Critical_process_stopped or something along those lines. I wasn't using my PC, it was sitting on the table when I saw it. I just restarted, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

That's odd, I've had -10 problems with windows 10 thus far, it's worked perfectly for me. I don't know the solution to your issue sadly :(

I don't get many issues, but if I do they are such critical and massive issues. One time I couldn't use my desktop, then my settings app and half a dozen apps were gone, now my LAN is completely broken.

I'm on my second fresh install of 10, and this one is plagued with random, inexplicable issues just like the last one. My Netgear A6200 wireless adapter is unusable on 10. If I plug it in, it and my keyboard will randomly disconnect for a good 45-60 seconds, then come back to normal. I lose my connection, and my keyboard dies completely (backlighting turns off, cannot input anything). That happened on my first install (upgrade directly from 7), my first clean install, and now my second clean install. I'm stuck using my old Cisco AE2500, because I cannot find a fix for the Netgear.

If, and only if, my computer goes to sleep, I will get about 8 minutes of use after waking before it just shuts off and reboots. It dies completely and hard resets. If I don't let it go to sleep, this doesn't happen. Until today, my computer had been on for over a week without going to sleep or shutting down in any way, had no issues. If I put it to sleep, it will give me a few minutes of use after waking, then die, taking my wireless adapter with it (have to unplug, reinstall my adapter when this happens).

Windows Explorer is a laggy piece of shit. I just downloaded a file and I'd like to move it to the appropriate library/folder. Can't just drag it, the progress bar will come up and stay at 0% indefinitely. I have to right click, cut, navigate to destination folder, paste. Explorer displays all kinds of weird glitches in addition to the inability to drag files. 75% of the time, when I click the close button, that window will close but a new one with open immediately to the same page. Sometimes the whole thing locks up and I can do nothing but end the process manually and start over.

10 is great, but it has just been an endless stream of problems for me. From the BS you have to go through to reactivate your copy if you're forced to do a fresh install or recovery (learned that firsthand when my PC just crashed one day and my only option was to reinstall from a recovery USB), to actual issues that break certain aspects of the system.

Oh, forgot to mention that my desktop icons don't show up automatically upon boot up. I have to right click a few times on the desktop to get those to finally pop up. I use Stardock Fences for most of my shortcuts, and that only works half the time now. Sometimes the icons inside my Fences will not be clickable. The image is there, I just can't left or right click on it.
